Manual sorting is often done in less frequently used aisles or shipping waiting areas. Sorting is done for case shipments within the company. This applies to dedicated deliveries. For courier deliveries, sorting is not required as the case is simply affixed with a shipping label and transported to the courier area. Also, if the worker who delivers from the inventory area sorts the items directly, there is no need for a sorting waiting area. |
